Abstract
While effects of climate change are being felt today, the future might reveal more sever risks to human health, possibly amplified by changes in demography. The SR is designed to achieve an inclusive, interdisciplinary assessment with stakeholder involvement, in line with IPCC as well as APCC standards, as a reliable and sound base for more focussed research and efficient action to halt adverse health impacts, and at the same time enabling better health and wellbeing for the population.
