Abstract
The designs of an Archimedean screw pumps are as manifold and versatile as their tasks. In a full scale test, the differences between a polyethylen water lifting screw and a conventional steel water lifting screw is to be investigated. For this purpose, a support device for both designs will installed in a pilot trough at a technical hall at the BOKU University. The two designs are tested one after the other with pure water to identify the differences.
