Modification of the intestinal micribiome for improved metabolism in childrens' neuroblasoma
Abstract
ITumor genesis is based on komplex interaction between environmental influences and gene regulation. In the course of tumor development there exists a competition for nutrient between the host and the tumor. Special modification of the microbiome is expected to improve the situation of the host and to provide more nutrients. Several strategies will be tested including faaces transplantation, implantation of specialised lactic acid bacteria and the application of bacteriocins
