Environmental impact assessment study of the Alberschwende hydropower plant at the Bregenzer Ache (morphology, hydrology and fish ecology, bentrhic invertebrates, phytobenthos).
Abstract
We investigate the effects of hydropower plants at the Bregenzer Ache before and after the implementation of the new Alberschwende hydropower plant. The alterations of the morphological, hydrological and fish ecological conditions are studied within a 4 years monitoring program. In addition, the effects of hydro peaking are investigated.
