long run experiment - driving with light (statistical advisory and evaluation)
Abstract
A statistically based analysis of data about traffic accidents within a time period of five years should help to investigate the influence of driving with light at daylight on type and frequency of traffic accidents. A very usuful tool was given by loglinear models so that the estimated parameters could be used for answering of numerous questions within this context. One important result was given by the fact that using traffic accident data do not allow to assume a significant influence of driving with light at daylight. For some further analysis a better data quality and more information about driving behaviour with light at daylight independent from accident situations should be achieved.
