SARA Safety analysis and reliability assessment
Abstract
In a nonlinear FEM code, ATENA, a probabilistic modul will be included. The probabilistic modul should allow to describe new or existing structures more realistic than the old deterministic calculation modes. This modul allows to deal with a number of random variables like concrete strength, steel strength geometrical variability, model uncertainties etc.. The aim of the project is to deliver a tool for engineers involved in safety problems. With this tool they should be able to assess the reliability and the degradation of the durability of structures.
