Tool for the assessment of torrent barriers

An assessment program combined with technical guidelines for plate barriers on the basis of an Excel application is made. This calculation program shall allow the public employees of the forest technical service and the torrent and avalanche barrier of Austria with a static basic knowledge to calculate three different types of plate-barriers.
