Abstract
In the context of the available project at the Gaschierakopf in the Schesatobel (Vorarlberg) artificially debris flows on a route distance from 150m are released by approx. The most diverse parameters - like velocity, discharge depths, pressure - are measured and documented with the help of modern measuring technique. A goal of these attempts is the research of debris flow regarding the emergence, the kinetics, the velocity and the range. Further the singular possibility of testing early warning systems and calibrating the individual measuring instruments exists.
