Abstract
Geogenic variations in Iodine and Selenium contents of feedstuffs from Austrian alpine regions seem to affect again Iodine and Se supply of calves, as feeding strategy of these animals returned to native cow milk as major feed component. This hypothesis is to be tested by Iodine and Selenium analysis of feedstuffs and blood derived from calves from the Attersee region
