Abstract
Regarding "peak oil" and climate change it is necessary to discuss settlement and infrastructures as well as specific patterns of human behaviour arisen from low-cost fossil energy in the past. Within this project multifaceted dialogue boards with several stakeholders discussing transition and options for action will be organised, the results will be summarized in a manual for urban and rural municipalities. Another output of this project is a concept for workshops for different stakeholders discussing these issues at the municipal level.
