Three-dimensional nanobiostructure-based self-contained devices for biomedical application
Abstract
Self-contained wireless electronic devices have huge scientific and practical importance for use in basic science, medicine and high-tech industry. In this project the integration of biomaterials with electronic elements, such as electrodes or chips that may function as biofuel cells or biosensors is targeted. Various oxidoreductases will be screened, optimised and produced to obtain better bioelements than currently available and immobilised on newly designed nanostructures.
