Abstract
By utilizing natural resources the agriculture and forestry sector is frequently confronted with questions of conservation and environmental protection. Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) is a common procedure to analyze such trade offs. Research in the field of behavioral economics casts doubts about the applicability of CBA in such cases. This research project analyzes (1) the impact of anomalous behaviour for environmental cost-benefit analysis (ECBA), (2) focusses on reseach lines suitable to overcome this problem and (3) illustrates fields of application in agriculture and forestry.
