MUBIL III - Subproject: Effects of different manuring systems in organic farming on the economic efficiency
Abstract
A long term field monitoring concerning the documentation and development of organic farming has been performed at the bio-farm “Rutzendorf“ in the Marchfeld region, Lower Austria, east of Vienna since 2003. Continuing to the results of the previous periods of monitoring (MUBIL I and MUBIL II) gross margin analysis of the crop rotations should be carried out for the harvest years 2009 and 2010. The economic analysis of different organic fertilization systems should provide evidence of their profitability under arid conditions like in the Pannonikum region. Beginning with the year 2009 an additional analysis of the application of biogas slurry will be analysed. Schlagworte: organic farming, gross margin, crop rotation, fertilisation systems, profitability
