MUBIL III – Evaluation, Subproject: Effects of different organic fertilisation systems and biotope structures on the soil water balance in organic farming
Abstract
A change from conventional to organic farming and the insertion of soil protection systems affect soil physical, chemical and biological parameters as well as the water balance of the agricultural used soil. To monitor the influence of these measures on soil quality parameters is crucial to guarantee a sustainable agriculture. In organic and conventional manage fields soil water content is observed by using FDR-sensors. The are installed down to 1 meter depth and measured in 15 minutes intervals. By comparing the results the impact of soil management will be derived.
