Abstract
The study investigates whether fish can pass the newly constructed ramp at the river Salzach at km 51.9. Based on the assumption that displaced individuals are motivated to return to their habitats, some fish will be transferred from the headwater to the lower sections of the ramp. In this manner it can be proved whether and how fast fish are passing the new ramp. In addition to the monitoring of the ramp, newly constructed riverbanks downstream of the ramp are also monitored.
