Land Information System Austria II
Abstract
The project LISA aims to overcome the shortcomings of the existing LC/LU data sets for regional, national as well as European management and reporting requirements. The development of LISA has been conceived in two development phases, followed by a business phase envisaging the nationalwide roll-out. To date a concept and proof of concept phase was part of the LISA I project. However, the concept phase, including an extended prototype production, revealedseveral issuses and challenges, which would either prevent a full roll-out due to technical and economic reasons or provide for an incomplete solution.
