Abstract
For the archaeological prospection of hyperspectral data sets it is necessary to analyse huge amounts of highly redundant and noisy data. For this purpose, IVFL is developing a user friendly and Matlab-based graphical user interface (GUI). The tool offers a number of interesting features: (1) data import and export, (2) smoothing of the data using the Whittaker smoother, (3) calculation of hyperspectral vegetation indices and red edge inflection points (REIP), (4) data compression using principle components, (5) data visualisation as BW or RGB image, and (6) animated visualisation
