Agronomic analysis of mixed cultivations of grain crops in the pannonian area
Abstract
The common cultivation of crops (intercropping) can result in yield advantages due to better utilization of limiting growth factors (water, nutrients, light) and the minimization of detrimental effects on the crop stand, e.g. due to diseases, pests and weeds. Aim of the project is to assess various intercrops consisting of grain crops regarding yield, yield stability and yield structure as wells as the quality of the harvested products.
