Effects of the CAP reform on availability of agricultural commodities in the Danube region
Abstract
The suggested provisions regarding additional set-aside areas (“greening”) within the CAP-reform may cause a further restriction for the availability of agricultural commodities in the Danube region. Therefore, the potential effects of the CAP-reform on the availability of agricultural commodities especially for industrial processing (food and non-food) will be evaluated. Additionally, adaptation strategies of processors on altered commodity availability will be developed.
