Abstract
The treatment efficiency of the two-bed constructed wetland system at Haselberg is investigated over one year of operation. It is designed to treat the waste water of 65 pe. Of special interest are the results over the winter period at a altitude of 850 m above sea level to see whether the treatment plant can fulfil the given emission criteria or not. This should help to find criteria to define the state of the art for such waste water treatment systems in Lower Austria.
