Abstract

Aim of the project is the development of an online model for the prognosis of the phenology of Ips typographus based on daily updated (from 1st April to 30th October) climatic data provided by the DWD (Deutscher Wetterdienst - German Weather Service). Modelling will be done using the bark beetle model PHENIPS. Furthermore we develope a short manual for using the modelling results by the endusers (forest enterprises, forest authorities and private forest owners).
