Redevelopment of acceident hot spots in Vienna 2010
Abstract
The redevelopment of accident hot spots is still an important task for to improve traffic safety, in particular when considering an urban area like the city of Vienna. Within the project the situation on several road locations will be analysed which had been identified being accident hot spots. Based on the results, recommendations of redevelopment will be compiled which appear appropriate for a sustainable reduction of local accident risk and consequences, respectively.
