Abstract
Within the project, we will analyse the genetic structure of Black grouse in Carinthia.
Samples of individuals of different sub-populations indicate the genetic diversity of the metapopulation. Based on several species-specific micro-satellite loci, individuals will be determined in the lab. Further analyses allow for the detection of clusters, indicating potential isolation effects.
