Monitoring of small mammals in different forest types in Austria
Abstract
We conduct a monitoring of small mammals in different forest types in Austria. We survey old growth-forests, near to nature forests as well as managed forests. We aim at a long-term monitoring of the population dynamics with focus on small mammals species, which are important drivers of forests regeneration dynamics.
