Austrian Concrete Benchmark
Abstract
Standardized characteristic values and typical compositions of modern Austrian concretes are investigated. The latter are characterized by using standard tests and new methods, in order to quantify the temperature-dependent development of Young’s moduli, creep, and shrinkage. Together with structural tests on massive concrete components and numerical simulations, practice-oriented design principles for modern concretes are improved.
