FFoQSI 3.2.2 Multitox China
Abstract
The overall goal of this project is the development and cross-validation of a novel LC-MS/MS based method to cater to the needs for efficient food and feed control both in terms of the range of target analytes as well as in terms of matrices in in China. Chinese foods and feeds have hardly been targeted within any previous multi-analyte related projects within the EU: Sample preparation and LC-MS/MS parameters will be investigated and optimized for these commodities. Finally, the method will be transferred to our Chinese partners, the Chinese Food Inspection Agency (CFSA), modified to fit to the instrumental platform(s) available in China and cross-validated. In order to check the method´s trueness, Romer Labs China will facilitate the comparison of measurement results obtained at IFA/BOKU and Romer Labs China with accredited laboratories. In this activity we plan to • implement the LC-MS/MS based multi-contaminant screening for improved food and feed control in China • to establish a priority list of contaminants in feed/food samples from China and provide it (together with related instrumental parameters) to Romer Labs China and CFSA • to perform cross-validation between the methods of the partners
