Energy and climat strategy Breitenfurt
Abstract
The amendment to the Lower Austrian Regional Planning Act 2014 in October 2020 introduced the Energy and Climate Concept as part of the basic research in Lower Austrian spatial planning. The aim of this project is to develop the basic principles and methods to be used by a rural-suburban municipality to implement this energy and climate concept and implement it with the instruments of local spatial planning. This will be elaborated using in an action research appraoch. At the end of the project, a methodology for the creation of an energy and climate concept and its application to the case study of Breitenfurt near Vienna will be available.
