Measurement of vapour-liquid phase equilibria of mixtures at pressures up to 250 bar.
Abstract
A high-pressure apparatus is used to measure simultaneously the temperature, the pressure, the saturated liquid density and the concentrations of both phases in a vapour-liquid equilibrium. The density is measured with the bouyancy method using a magnetic suspension balance, the concentration is measured with a gas-chromatograph.
