Abstract
The objective of the project in question is to investigate the possible effects of organic farming on rural development in various case studies in Germany. The following potential effects are subject matter: income, employment, environmental improvement, changes in landscape and recreational value, synergistic effects with other regionale economic sectors, development of innovation in rural areas.
