NETworking in the city: what should the urban development do/could provide Vienna 2025-2050

The Department of Landscape, Spatial and Infrastructure Sciences (RaLI) develops a future.lab – entitled “verNETZEn in der Stadt” – as to spatial processes in urban context. Assuming from their expertises, the research associates of the RaLI-Department deal with the current subjects of the urban development, themed: “What should/could the urban development achieve Vienna 2025-2050”. Main focus of themes is the urban open spaces, construction, transport and energy infrastructure including their nature-orientated, economic and social relations, which are an important basis for quality of life in the city Vienna. Main topics are: “cognition & networking”, “challenge”, “technologies & cooperation” and “new values, visions & concepts”. The exhibition’s concept comprises three, on each other referring areas (poster, image sequences, participation-tool), and will expected occur from November 2013 to October 2014.
