This study deals with a lowtemperature-heatingsystem. Within the timeframe for examination between 1996 07 29 and 1999 01 01 the changes in wet masonry and the interior climate are registered (this equals 128 testing weeks). This work (diploma thesis) is the first step of a longrange examination which is carried out by the Harreither GmbH together with the working group of power economy (Univ. Prof. Dipl. Ing. Dr. Herbert Braun- Universität für Bodenkultur). It is necessary to measure temperature and humidity as well as to register the volumstream. To see wether there is an increase or wether there is a decrease in humidity in masonry you have to calculate from relative humidity into absolute humidity. Using exactly the same temperature the comparison is established with the year 1998 to the referring year 1997. To find an optimum solution for the restore-technique this largely dimensioned experiment has to be done. As heating systems are important in the field of new constuctions as well as within old buildings and as emissions and energyconsumption are of equal importance the utilisation of lowtemperature-heatingsystems is necessary. To have the optimum basis to be able to end up with ideal solutions and with a capacity for a further development in the field of restore of old buildings and lowenergyconstructions, the following aspects should be observed: 1.environmental aspects 2.aspects for the restauration of old constructions (restauration-concepts) 3.heatinginsulation (influence on the U-value) 4.optimum of the buildingenvelope 5.factors with relevance to health
