Abstract
The potential of enzymes for enzymatic polymerization of lignin for higher-value applications will be assessed. Therefore, the impact of lignin pre-treatment from various waste streams on enzymatic polymerisation will be assessed. Moreover, laccases from different bacterial or fungal origin will be heterologously produced. These enzymes will be compared in the process nand reaction conditions for distinct application optimized.
