Abstract
Planting alternative tree species or provenances with higher potential for adaptation are important actions to adapt forest ecosystems to CC. Moreover, forest seedling demand depends on economic factors, political framework conditions and global economic drivers. MoreSeedsAdapt aims at understanding the demand and potential supply of the forestry with seeds and seedlings in CC with respect to different forest adaptation management strategies. The project will provide ecologically & economically valid adaptation paths for the Austrian forest-based sector.
