Consumer Understanding of alternative best-before date label formats
Abstract
The project evaluates measures to improve the communication and comprehensibility of best-before dates. The work aims to provide insights into consumers' understanding and perception of selected label designs. In this context, this project aims to provide empirical evidence assisting the current discussion about effective best-before label designs in order to (a) assist consumer decision making, and (b) prevent food waste.
