Protection measures against natural hazards - local protection measures

Ambition of the project is the assembling of the fundamentals related to local structural protection measures against natural hazards, which can be used for a specific public relations or communication (sensitisation, transfer of knowledge) by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management. The main aim is to create materials (pictures, graphics and texts) which enable a comprehensive representation of this topic in popular science publications. People’s sensibility to the necessity of preventive local structural protection should be improved and the implementation of local structural protection strategies measures should be encouraged.
